Organizational life, firm performance and the allocation of resources in society are all influenced by the decisions of organizational groups. These groups must select a course of action among various options, and do so in an interactive process, CDM.

The proposed research builds on the idea that people are the crucial element in digital transformation, and not the technology they use. This aims to explore and expose the previously black-boxed nature of CDM processes, a shift from the traditional optic of “big data” as the input for decision making to “big data” about the CDM processes in order to improve them.
